Payment

As a private customer, you are only able to pay for your goods with credit card or PayPal. This method of payment is covered by the opposition system.

When paying with a credit card we will only subtract the subtotal of the purchase from your account when the item is shipped. You can pay with Dankort, eDankort, Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard and Maestro.

The entered data is encrypted and cannot be read by others. Card information is sent through an encrypted connection to our server.

 

The Opposition System

You can always oppose if an amount is deducted from your account and you can demonstrate:

 
  • you have not received the product
  • you have been exposed to a misuse of your credit card information
  • you regret the purchase before receiving it, e.g. by refusing to receive it or not collect it at the post office
  • the amount deducted from your account is higher than you authorized when placing the order
 

It is a condition that your opposition cannot be immediately refuted as false.

 

Delays

Betterfelt North America will contact you either by telephone or email, if any problem (in terms of production failures, delays, etc.) occurs when processing your order.

Damage and Defects

Betterfelt North America has a strict quality control, but errors may occur. If you receive a delivery with any defects, we will repair or exchange your item. Another opportunity is to get the price refunded, depending on the extent of the defect.

Damage to the product caused by improper use of it or normal wear and tear is not covered by the warranty.

If there are deficiencies, damages or other claims in the product, please contact Betterfelt North America as soon as possible. Remember to have your invoice and order confirmation ready when you contact us by phone: +1 530 554 1312 or email: sales@betterfelt.com.

Once you have received an answer, please send the defective product, a copy of the relevant invoice and a description of the defect to the following address:

Once Betterfelt North America receives the defective item, we will contact you immediately by email, to discuss how we handle the case.

Remember to get a receipt for your return postage, which must be included in the package if the refund of shipping charges is required.

Betterfelt North America recommends that the product is returned with a shipping option that provides tracking codes. By this any doubt is removed whether the goods have been delivered to Betterfelt North America or not, and you have the opportunity to advertise for the package if no delivery should have taken place. The package is rejected by Betterfelt North America if it is returned as COD (cash on delivery) or without postage or with no distribution.

 

Note

All exchanged products will renew their warranty period from the date the customer receives them.

If the defects or damages occurred during shipping, you must contact UPS, who is responsible for all deliveries from Betterfelt North America.

 

Receipt

Valid receipt is the order confirmation and/or the invoice on which the product is specified.

 

The Right of Withdrawal and Exchange

When shopping on www.betterfelt.us, you have 30 day of Right to Withdraw and Exchange the goods from the day you receive them. Meaning you can receive the package, pack the items out and see if they are as expected and the size fits.

 

Terms of using the Right of Withdrawal or Exchange

The goods are sent to Betterfelt North America in the same condition and quantity as on delivery. This includes that the goods must be unused and in original packaging. It is not required that the packaging is unbroken.

The Right of Withdrawal

When The Right to Withdrawal is used, the cost of the purchase and the shipping fee get refunded. The shipping fee is not refundable if the original order consists of multiple items and only some of the items are withdrawn.

Withdrawal can also be done by refusing to receive the package or delivering it personally to us.

When Betterfelt North America has received the returned item, you get an email confirming this. The email provides information of the subsequent process, and when you can expect to get your money refunded.

Expect a processing time up to 7 days on return packages, as all goods returned are checked systematically. The cost of the purchase is refunded to your account within a few days and latest 30 days after Betterfelt North America receives the returned goods.

If you have paid by bank transfer when making the purchase, you must provide us with the registration number and account number for the account you want us to transfer the amount to.

When Betterfelt North America has processed the withdrawn purchase and the amount is transferred to your account, we will send a credit note to your email.

 

Note

The cost of returning the goods to Betterfelt North America is the customer's own expense. This also applies if the customer refuses to accept his order. The package is rejected by Betterfelt North America if it is returned as COD (cash on delivery) or without postage or with no distribution.

The Right of Withdrawal does not apply to custom made products.

 

The Right of Exchange

Is the product not as expected or have you ordered the wrong size, you can choose to exchange it. To facilitate the procedure, you must return the product and a copy of the relevant invoice and then order a new product through our online shop.

 

The First Product Purchased

When Betterfelt North America receives the returned item we will refund the cost of purchase and delivery. The shipping fee is not refundable if the original order consists of multiple items and only some of the items are to be exchanged.

Reimbursement

In the case of agreed discounts, returned goods or prepaid items that are canceled before shipment, there must be a full or partial refund of the purchase price. Repayment will be made to the credit card that was used to pay for the goods.

The goods can be paid with US Dollars (USD). 

 

Duties 

Betterfelt North America pays all duties and fees for importing the shipment into the US so you don’t get met with any extra charges in this respect.

 

Sales Tax

The customer is responsible for paying any applicable sales tax or use tax on the purchase.

 

 

Orders and Delivery

 

Shipping Time

All orders to the US are shipped from Toronto, Canada. Orders generally ship within 3 business days. Your order will be delivered with UPS Standard and should be delivered in 2 days by end of day after your order ships. 

 

Shipping Fee

You will be able to see shipping cost prior to placing your order. The cost depends on your location.
